Daze affects quite a few melee classes too >.> Its not really just spell casters.

Daze affects, Shadow arts skills (cept for stances) Critical arts spells, Deadly arts.

Daze affects, earth prayers, wind prayers,mysticism....on a melee class.

the classes who really don't worry about daze are

Warrior,ranger,Paragon.

so umm >.> 2 melee classes out of 5 getting pwned by it too >.> evens out daze a bit. No caster is affected by blind...in any way.

kist pointing that out.

Sorry Lady, but, there are MODS/UPGRADES you can apply to your armor to reduce hexes AND conditoins they are called RUNES and they are all 20% reduction in TIME. Of course most don't want to lose their precious -3 vs physical or +3 and +2 energies or take a damage reduction like the -20% hex duration mod gives. Most don't want to give up anything they already use, they just want the skills to be changed so they can become all powerful. lo Ain't gonna happen bud sorry. If you don't like getting hexed and smacked down by casters, rangers and paragons, best to change your class of character.

If they removed these melee deterents then the melee class would be overpowered. There are all these hexes and condtions vs the melee to keep it balanced in PVP so the melee class just doesn't overrun everyone with their spiking powers. I run a N/Me and it's a joy to put SS, Parasite and Empathy onto a melee class and hear them QQ about it like you.

Stop attacking and run away. Gawd why are people such idiots and think they should be able to attack 100% of the time. You know this game requries SKILL and I can see you have none.

Nail on the head here i think. If everything where counterable we'd just end up with big stalemates all over the place.

That's basically like "Stop attacking if you're hit with SS" for a warrior. ^_^ both are good advice, but many people prefer to say "take SS out" instead of learning to play

Guild Wars is a team game designed around the concept of 64 skill builds, not 8. If you want to be an uber HULK SMASH melee type that kills everything and never dies and never can be stopped alone, then you're playing the wrong game.

Plague Touch, Signet of Malice and Mending Touch instantly come to mind as solutions to your problem that are so perfect for the job that they've been meta for, oh I don't know, since they were released? Also, 20% Reduced Blind shield mod+Blind reduction rune=more than half Blind duration removed with absolutely no skill or player input, beyond maybe a weapon swap.

I love daze dervish... lol daze > dervishs...

Back to the topic

Melee = anti casters... interupts, KDs, daze...

Casters = anti melee... damage if you attack, damage if you miss, blind, wards...

Any dumb kown it... its the life... if you cant deal with anti melee... join casters side...

I belive the OP must love play with melees...
My main char is a caster i deal with daze, with hexs and energy denial skills...

If OP play PvP i cant do nothing for you... PvP is about skills bars... and abilities...
If OP play PvE, when i play as melee i use a SB smiter hero, no hex on me... no bind... just fun

After all... have any of us ever seen a Wa/Mo that even knew a monk had other skills in their profession line?

What we're all forgetting here is that the OP wants a game where they are the uber kewl 1337 master of all and can solo everything while the rest of the team; players, heroes, or henchies, stand around drooling and going 'Wow, you're so amazing! I'm just going to faint because you're so kewl!'

#1 way to survive the fact that every class is built to be able to one-shot every other class under the right conditions... come in a team with a lot of varied strategies.

My warrior is -NOT- into sexual assault. She does not use her genitalia to kill monsters nor other players nor go after their genitals. She might slaughter the enemy, but she does not rape anyone.

pvp has RPS, but izzy only hands out one of those to everyone per month and its all about how hard you throw it.

Warriors in GW are pathetic and weak compared to other games, so I agree with the OP. Warrior builds alone don't do enough damage unless you mix it creatively with other classes...but oh wait, you have just 25-30 energy so the choices are very restricted.

Name one other profession with higher dps than warrior. And warrior can get nice utility too.

Once again, another thread derailed into arguments about counters making things bad.
